1. About These Terms
These terms apply to enquiries, quotations and bookings made with Gorilla Trek Safaris. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms together with the itinerary, invoice and any supplier conditions provided for your trip.
2. Enquiries and Quotations
Initial itineraries and prices are proposals, not confirmed reservations. A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit or payment and send written confirmation. Prices and availability may change before confirmation, especially for permits, accommodation and transport.
3. Traveller Responsibilities
Travellers are responsible for providing accurate passport, health, insurance and contact information, obtaining required visas and travel documents, and following reasonable instructions from guides, parks and service providers. Guests should disclose relevant medical, mobility or dietary needs before travel.
4. Permits and Suppliers
Gorilla, chimpanzee and other activity permits are limited, date-specific and subject to the rules of the relevant authority. Accommodation, transport, guides and activities may be supplied by independent third parties. We will use reasonable care in selecting suppliers but cannot control events or services outside our operation.
5. Changes and Force Majeure
We may adjust an itinerary when needed for safety, weather, conservation rules, road conditions, park decisions, supplier availability or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will seek to provide comparable alternatives where practical. Such changes do not automatically create a right to a refund unless required by the applicable booking terms.
6. Payment and Cancellation
Payment deadlines, deposit amounts and cancellation charges are stated in your quotation or invoice. Our Cancellation Policy explains the standard approach, but the written terms for your confirmed booking control if they differ.
7. Insurance and Liability
Comprehensive travel insurance, including medical treatment, evacuation, cancellation, baggage and activity cover, is strongly recommended. We are not responsible for loss, delay, injury or expense caused by events outside our reasonable control or by a traveller's failure to follow instructions, subject to applicable law.
