Our Story
Gorilla Trek Safaris was started by a family with roots in the villages bordering Bwindi and Volcanoes National Park. After years of guiding trips for other companies, we set out to run trips our own way, with fewer travelers per group, more time built into each day, and a direct relationship between the traveler and the guide.
Today we plan and lead gorilla trekking trips across Rwanda and Uganda, working with a small circle of driver guides, lodges, and park rangers we have known for years.
